App-Packager

App-Packager takes the manual work out of deploying applications with Microsoft Intune. Choose an app from the WinGet catalogue, and App-Packager builds, validates and publishes a Win32 package in your tenant, then keeps it up to date. No more IntuneWinAppUtil, silent install switches or product codes to look up. App-Packager downloads the official installer, checks its SHA256 hash, creates the .intunewin package and sets the silent install and uninstall commands, detection rules and return codes for you. Every app is packaged the same way, which saves hours per application and gives consistent results. The WinGet catalogue has more than 15,000 apps, from Chrome, Firefox and 7-Zip to Notepad++, VLC and Acrobat Reader, and is refreshed every night. When a new version is released, it is published in Intune within your maintenance window and existing assignments are kept. Setting up a new tenant? Put a set of standard apps ready in one go. Per app you see how many devices succeeded, are busy or failed, with the error code explained in plain language. Assignments, available, required or uninstall, are changed per app without opening the Intune portal. App-Packager can also scan the software on your devices to find outdated programs, and old versions that are no longer used are cleaned up with one click. Not every app is in WinGet: upload your own .msi, .exe or .zip and set the icon, texts and detection rules yourself. For MSPs, App-Packager connects all customer tenants and rolls out an app to all of them at once. Connecting is done by signing in with Microsoft, including MFA and security defaults; your password is never seen or stored. A log shows who did what and when, a monthly PDF report helps with ISO 27001 and NIS2, and notifications about deployments arrive in your Teams channel.
